Another round of the Real Estate Salespersons (RES) exams will be held in April 2022.
This examination is held for aspiring property agents and part of the criteria to qualify as a salesperson is to pass the examinations.
This is to ensure that salespersons are equipped with the basic knowledge and competencies in the real estate industry.
The paper consists of two parts, Paper One and Paper Two.
Registration process
Registration for the exams comes in two parts, and here are the processes and the dates to remember:
Indication of Interest on FormSG (Stage 1)
Only applicants who have finished their RES course before 15 February 2022 and hold a valid RES course completion certificate are allowed to express their interests via a FormSG.
The timings to remember for this part of the registration process is:
“9am on 15 February 2022 to 6pm on 16 February 2022”
Only one submission is allowed per applicant and anyone who submits more than once will be disqualified and appeals will not be entertained by the council.
The FORMSG link for registration is here and it will only go live at 9am on 15 February 2022.
Seats will be assigned to the fastest fingers first and also based on criteria such as having successfully submitted their indication of interest based on the exam slots chosen and those who have met the eligibility criteria.
Successful applicants will be contacted by 24 to 25 February 2022Â with more details of stage 2 of registration.
Those who have failed to register will be informed by 18 March 2022.
However, they will be placed in the waiting list and will be informed again should slots open up for them.
Examination Registration (Stage 2)
Applicants who are shortlisted to register for the exams will receive an email from NTUC LearningHub and will have to follow all the stated instructions inside the email and complete their registration.
Those who fail to complete the registration by the deadline stated will have their seats forfeited and given to those in the waiting list.
