9,420 NEW CASES IN SINGAPORE, 4 FATALITIES


The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 9,420 new cases on 13th February 2022 with 4 fatalities.

9,195 are local and 225 are imported cases.

The weekly growth rate is down to 1.46 (Yesterday was 1.54)

Case details

Of the 9,420 new cases, 7,071 cases are tested positive through ART of which 7,042 are local and 29 are imported.

2,349 cases were confirmed after testing with PCR with 2,153 local cases and 196 imported cases.

MOH reported 4 death cases bringing to death toll to 897.

There are currently 1,272 patients in the hospital with 162 of them requiring oxygen and 24 are in the ICU.

93% of Singapore’s population has completed the vaccination program.

63% of Singapore’s population has received booster shots.

In total Singapore has recorded 469,495 COVID-19 cases from the start of the coronavirus.
