The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has just premiered their new video series titled ‘Fall In’ which you can now view on their Facebook and YouTube pages.
The first episode of this new series aims to show the public about enlistment day in the SPF and what actually goes on from the time these new SPF recruits report to the camp to the time they settle in.
The episode is hosted by Abigail Lim, a Police Media Officer and in the video, she interviewed some of the family members and loved ones of the new recruits.
Most of the interviewees when asked feel that National Service is good and necessary in ensuring that our country remains safe and make them grow up from boys to men.
Some also mentioned that they felt a little sad because they will now have lesser time to spend with their loved ones.
The video then shows the new recruits engaging in drill and physical training sessions.
Many recruits when interviewed also shared the same sentiments as their loved ones about doing their National Service and while some may feel anxious and not know what to expect in the near future to come, most are hopeful and looking forward to their time in National Service.
