According to a recent court hearing, a construction worker bit off his colleague’s after a dispute between two men who were arguing about sleeping together with other men.
31-year-old Logan Govindaraj bit off the fingertip of 42-year-old Muthu Selvam and the doctors were unable to reattach the fingertip.
What happened?
The two Indian nationals were drinking and listening to music in a lorry at Kranji Crescent on Dec 5 20200, Logan who had drunk a few beers scolded Muthu saying that Muthu has slept with other workers and the dispute continued after they leave the vehicle.
It is unclear if Logan is jealous or what is the cause of concern.
The verbal argument turned physical and they started pushing each other and Logan bit off Muthu’s fingertip, Muthu slapped and grab Logan’s shirt in retaliation.
Muthu later realised that his finger was missing and told his colleagues to call the ambulance.
Logan pleaded guilty in court on Friday and he was sentenced to 10 months in jail.
