KFC Singapore has been fined SGD$3,000 earlier today for allowing four patrons at the Far East Plaza outlet to intermingle.
During that time, the allowable max table size was for two persons only.
The 4 individuals who intermingle despite sitting separately was
- Muhammad Ariffin Sahdan
- Shehzel Selamat
- Nyla Muhammad Kamal
- Muhammad Hidayat Rahmad
It is unclear if these 4 customers were fined.
When did it happen?
The incident happened on July 10 2021, Officers from the Singapore Tourism Board were in the area and noticed that the 4 individuals were intermingling.
The enforcement officers entered the outlet and noticed that the staff members fail to ensure that the customers did not intermingle.
For breaching COVID-19 rules, the fast-food chain could have been fined S$10,000 for breaching Covid-19 regulations.
Individuals who are found guilty of flouting the COVID-19 rules can be jailed up a maximum of 6 months and/or fine of up to SGD$10,000
