A wild boar was seen in a video appearing to be chasing a woman into the central square of Khatib Central at Yishun.
The wild boar then knocked the woman onto the ground, with the woman then falling onto the ground and becoming unconscious for 15 minutes before being conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for treatment, according to Lianhe Zaobao.
The incident happened on 9 March at about 6.40pm, in front of Block 846 Yishun Ring Road, at the central square of Khatib Central.
According to an eyewitness, Tan Xuehue, who spoke to Lianhe Zaobao, the woman was with a little girl at the time of the incident, and she stayed at the side of the woman after the accident and was crying.
Another eyewitness, Chen Leimeng, told the Chinese newspaper that the wild boar ran forward after hitting the woman before crashing into the glass door of an optical shop nearby.
The wild boar then got even more flustered and ran towards the coffee shop at Block 848.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that they had responded to the incident at 6.50pm that evening, with one person sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for treatment.
