A Malaysian man who was previously employed by Certis Cisco pleaded guilty in court after he raped his colleague three times.
Even after doing the crime, he took a photo of the victim and send it to his friend to “show off”.
After the accused was caught, they found several compromising videos of women on him which included footage of a female roommate taking a shower.
The 24-year-old Malaysian was sentenced to 15 years and 20 strokes of the rotan on Friday (March 11).
To protect the identity of the victims the man cannot be named.
When it happen?
In November 2019, he made friends with a 27-years-old Malaysian colleague and started chatting. They eventually meet for a drink in June 2020 at the void deck where the accused live.
They were consuming alcohol during the meetup and the woman was later rendered unconscious.
He carried the woman back to his home which was captured by a Police CCTV and he took advantage of her 3 times and took at least 6 videos of her.
After he was “done” with the victim he send the photo to his friend to boast about it.
When the victim regained consciousness the next morning she realised what had happened and left his home.
It took her a month before she made a Police report as she is unclear with Singapore’s legal system and she was later admitted to IMH for treatment after the ordeal.
