A video emerged online showing a daydreaming driver failing to conform to the red light and rear-ending a motorcyclist that was waiting at the traffic stop.
The incident happened on 11 March at a traffic stop along Shenton Way at about 5.20pm, and was captured by another vehicle.
The motorcyclist was seen waiting a the traffic light, which was red at the time.
The Toyota Vios then appeared into frame without showing any signs of slowing down, and ended up rear-ending the motorcyclist,
The impact sent him falling backward and knocked him off his bike.
The bewildered motorcyclist then sat on the ground in a heap and stared at the driver, gesturing at him, presumably pointing out that the traffic light was red.
