A 45-year-old man was sentenced to jail for 33 years and 24 strokes of cane after he was found guilty of raping/sexual assualt against 4 of his biological children.

Intially he was sentenced to 36 strokes of the cane but the maximum allowable strokes under the statutory is only 24 strokes.
The extra 12 strokes of cane will be converted to 7 extra months in jail.
What happen?
The victims who are his biological daughters , the man had 5 children and 4 of them were tormented by him.
First abused was in 2004, the man has 7 children in total some from previous and current marriages.
