A video started circulating on the internet with two groups of man having an altercation at Clark Quay.

3 Seconds after the video start, a group of ang moh YPs were seen having a confrontation with another group.

A man was punched in the face and a fight started. It is unclear what triggered the fight but netizens says that it is due to the influence of alcohol and immaturity.

Potential penalties

According to Chapter 224 of the Penal Code, anyone who disturbs public peace by fighting in public is guilty of committing an affray.

Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to one year and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
