MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY THROWING GLASS & METAL RODS OUT WINDOW

A 64-year-old resident at Block 52 Cassia Crescent was arrested on 18 March at about 11.25am for high rise littering, according to Shin Min Daily News.

The man had allegedly thrown a slew of items down from a 4th floor unit at the HDB building, including glass and iron rods.

He was arrested after multiple incidences of items being thrown down from the block.

Nobody was hurt from his actions.

According to a resident who spoke to the Chinese newspaper, there were about 3 police vehicle seen at the scene when the man was arrested.

The NEA had also installed CCTVs at the area to monitor the situation, with 3 previous incidents of killer litter being caught.

Marine Parade Town Council also kept the residents updates with their investigations progress through notices.
