60$? For a haircut? Really? I get it, barbers have to make ends meet too, but come on sometimes it’s ridiculous.
I go to my barber every 2 weeks and have for 3 years. Until recently it’s been 20 dollars, which is already kinda expensive.
All I get is a boosted fade and a line up. No designs, no special treatment no nothing. It takes 15 minutes.
I think $20 is fully adequate. I was shocked when he told me how much. But 60? that is a quarter of my part time salary.
I’m a broke student. And my hair grows so fast and I’m not trying to look homeless, and I want to support him since he’s been my barber for years, but damn.

I’ve spent about $50 in haircuts since 2014 and it only takes me about ten minutes. My older brothers done the same, and my dad has done the same. Started in his 20’s and he’s 59 now. Think of how much money has been saved not getting haircuts every 2-4 weeks over this time.
You have low risk of doing anything bad cuz clippers have guards, so you pretty much cant accidentally give yourself a bald spot or something.
