A netizen shared a video showing a cyclist jaywalking across the road and causing a car to abruptly jam brake to avoid hitting her.
The incident happened at the junction between Boon Lay Way and Jurong East Central on 8 April at about 7.40pm.
Here is what the netizen said
irresponsible cyclist who didn’t stop at the traffic light and rode across. Just at that moment, the right-turn signal came on.
Luckily the driver to my right was vigilant and quick thinking to jam brake his car. Otherwise the cyclist would probably be lying in hospital bed now.
The cyclist didn’t even feel apologetic! She just walked away nonchalantly.
To the husband, children, friends, co-workers of that cyclist, if you happen to watch this video, PLEASE advise her to value her life and other road users’ lives as well?
