A red-crowned crane came to the mourning hall and bowed his head towards the old man’s portrait, as if kowtowing to say goodbye. After the video was uploaded to the Internet, it sparked heated discussions, with some netizens exclaiming, “The old man really drove a crane to the west.”

How it happened

On April 15, in a residential house in Panjin City, Liaoning Province, after an old man passed away, his family set up a mourning hall to park the coffin to mourn. Unexpectedly, a red-crowned crane walked into the mourning hall when the family remembered it.

The old man’s son-in-law said: “The crane from the outside walks towards the house on the road, and no one chases it away, so it walks into the house (inside) by itself.” He added, “(family) kowtow to the old father-in-law , the crane passed by, and seemed to be kowtowing or bowing. My elder sister-in-law called it twice, and it really did.”
