A fatal accident took place on the evening of 18 April, when 22-year-old motorcyclist, Ng Jun De was killed while on his way home on his motorbike.
The accident happened along Clementi Road, and he sustained injuries to his chest before succumbing to his injuries at the hospital.
He was about to start his polytechnic education in August later this year, and his family and friends remember him as a popular and happy young man.
Ng was on his way home at the time of the accident when he lost control of his motorcyclist at about 8.45pm, along Clementi Road 6.
He was subsequently conveyed to the hospital for emergency treatment, and his family was informed to be psychologically for the worst, after rushing over.
He eventually died after succumbing to is severe chest injuries, with the authorities currently investigating the cause of the accident.
His brother, Jonathan Ng, paid tribute to him on Facebook, saying:
“Thank you everyone for your outpouring of love and support to my family during this difficult time, we are truly touched by all of you sharing with us how Jun De lived a life full of positive vibes and impacting many others around him.
Touched to see hundreds and hundreds of people who took the time and effort to rearrange work commitments to pay your last respect to him.
I’m glad to hear many testimonies about Jun De through everyone of you, my sincere apologies for not able to thank everyone who came and others who sent their virtual hugs.
We are truly touched, and Jun De is blessed know that he is the precious gem in our hearts”
