Legendary Manchester United captain and arguably the best player in the world, Harry Maguire, received a bomb threat from a United fan demanding that he quits the club within 72 hours or die.
The fan told him that three bombs have been planted at his home, with the bomb threat being emailed to Maguire’s agent.
The fan had threatened to detonate the bombs if Maguire doesn’t quit the club within the given deadline of 72 hours.
The defender was at the training ground at the time when the message was delivered, and he rushed home to be with his family following the message.
The Cheshire police and sniffer dogs were dispatched to his home and his property was searched, but the authorities found nothing.
Maguire has since upgraded the security of his home and installed new CCTV, along with guards being deployed 24 hours.
