PASIR RIS “SPIDER-MAN” CHARGED WITH CAUSING PUBLIC NUISANCE

A video of a man hanging from an HDB void deck ceiling went viral on April 25. The man was seen struggling at a vent of a block located at Pasir Ris HDB and the Police were seen trying to catch the man.

The man hanged at the ceiling and shouted which attracted the attention of passersby.

The incident was captured on video.

Arrest and Charged

According to 8World news, the man has been identified as 45-year-old Muhammed Nazir Bin Ahmad and he was arrested at Pasir Ris Drive 6, Block 469 on April 23.

He allegedly used a pair of scissors and knock on the windows of a unit along the block’s corridors.

If the man is guilty of public nuisance he can be jailed up to 3 months and/or fine up to S$2,000.
