A 25-year-old man was arrested after being seen dragging a board with the dead body of his girlfriend along a street in Hong Kong on the morning of 29 April.
Passers-by saw a pair of legs sticking out of a rolled-up blanket that was wrapped around the corpse on the board that he was dragging along Tin Ha Road in Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong.
A police report was then made and the authorities soon arrived at the scene, with the woman inside the blanket being pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to the Hong Kong police.
A spokesperson for the Hong Kong police said that the deceased was wrapped with cling wrap and her hands were bound together with a rope.
The 25-year-old man was arrested for murder, and at least two separate CCTV footage showed him dragging the dead body on the road.
The man was then held for questioning, and preliminary investigations revealed that the man and the victim were lovers and used to be co-workers.
