NEA – HAWKER CENTRES GETTING CROWDED, BE PATIENT WITH CLEANERS

The National Environment Agency (NEA) shared on their Facebook page, urging hawker centre patrons to be patient with their cleaners during peak hours as the hawker centres are getting more crowded.

Here is what they said

Wiping and sanitising tables, sorting and clearing tray and crockery return points, returning clean trays and crockery to stalls – these are just some of our cleaners’ important tasks that are needed to upkeep the general cleanliness of our public dining places.

With so many duties, cleaners can get very busy during peak dining hours, and may need a little more time to get around to wiping and sanitising tables.

So do be patient with our cleaners while waiting for a clean table, especially as our hawker centres are getting more crowded with more people returning to their workplace.

We too can enable a faster turnover of clean tables, by returning our used trays and crockery. Together, let’s make it a more pleasant dining experience at #OurHawkerCentres.
