Mega billionaire Elon Musk had a meeting with the coordinating minister of maritime and investment affairs, Luhut Pandjaitan, in Texas back in April.
He then tried the popular Kopiko candy, and gave the candy two thumbs up.
A video of Musk giving the candy two thumbs up was then released and the next day, the company that produces the candy, Mayora, saw their company’s stocks rise 7.35% the next day.
Musk was in Texas for a meeting to talk about Indonesia’s efforts to develop electric vehicles battery industry and investment opportunities in the sector.
Luhut expressed his desire for further discussions with Musk about Indonesia’s nickel industry, and president Joko Widodo is also planning to meet the billionaire during an upcoming trip to the US.
