Job applications are something many people go through in their lives unless you are born out of a silver spoon.
A man recently posted on Facebook stating that there are some jobs that are just not worth the time to apply for as that are too many applications.
He stated that for a job role such as an admin, there might be several hundred applicants and it requires them to apply for at least 20 different admin jobs before securing an interview.
He then compared it to a job such as being a security guard stating that he only needs to apply for one job and often gets the job on the spot.
Here is what he said:
Office admin jobs are the most useless jobs in sg. Salary 2k plus. Many people applying for 1 job. Company post 1 admin job vacancy in jobstreet, can easily have 100 to 500 pp1 applying for it.
I need to apply 100 to 200 admin jobs and go for 10 to 20 interviews before i may get lucky and get 1 jab offer. Even if i get the admin job, most likely it will be a stressful job. I work as security officer also can earn 2k plus a month. I apply and go interview, on the spot they hire me.
I don’t need. apply 100 to 200 security jobs and go for 10 to 20 interviews to get 1 security job offer. Although securityjobs is work 12 hours a day, but iM mostly easy job. If i suay kana a stressful security job, i can easily leave and find another security officer job.
