NORTH KOREA REPORTS MORE COVID DEATHS, KIM JONG UN: “COUNTRY IN TURMOIL”

North Korea reported 42 deaths from Covid as the country entered day 4 of their lockdown to contain their first outbreak of the coronavirus.

Their state news agency said that the country is taking “swift state emergency measures”, with all provinces, cities and counties being locked down since 12 May.

Their people are also under strict and intensive examination, with leader Kim Jong Un saying one day earlier that the country is in great turmoil.

A minimum of 296,180 more people have since come down with symptoms of fever, with 15 deaths as of today (15 May).

North Korea has a total of 820,620 suspected cases, with 324,550 under medical treatment.
