Insurance can claim or not?
Many people wonder if they can claim insurance for such an unfortunate incident, most of the time the answer is no.
According to Motorist.sg, Almost all the car insurance companies in Singapore do not cover damages to the vehicle that was damaged by the forces of nature. In Singapore, events that fall under this category usually include trees falling and flooding from heavy rain.
Since insurance doesn’t cover what can one do?
With insurance unable to cover for such damages when can only opt to park in a multi-storey carpark to prevent such incidents from happening.
For older estates with open-air carpark, there is almost nothing you can do to prevent this.
