A netizen recounted a harrowing story on his TikTok account, @pale.nerves, about how a taxi driver had allegedly tried to break into his Airbnb villa in Bali.
He said that his group of friends had left a nightclub and were all “dead drunk” and desperate to head back.
And that is when a “random” taxi driver then appeared and approached them, asking them to get into his taxi to send them home.
The driver then allegedly asked the group to pay $40 upon reaching their villa, which was more than the $10 original price agreed; but the group gave him whatever money they had left.
The driver then alighted and chased them while screaming, trying to force his way into their apartment without success.
About 2 hours later when the group was asleep inside, the netizen said that he went to the courtyard to get his phone, and that is when he noticed the driver trying to scale the walls of their villa, with a few other goons with him.
He said that the guy is trying to kill them and that he didn’t come alone.
The driver and his companions failed to break into their residence and left shortly after, with his (the netizen’s) friends still asleep and none the wiser.
The netizen then advised those traveling to Bali, best to get a personal chauffeur to drive you around throughout the whole trip.
