MAN ALLEGEDLY REFUSED TO WEAR MASK IN BUS WHILE VIDEO CALLING GF

A Facebook user, Coldicewater Teng, shared a post of a man inside a bus who allegedly refused to put on a face mask while talking on the phone.

He said that the man was told to put on a mask but he allegedly refused, and he was seen video calling someone he claimed to be his girlfriend.

Here is what he said on Facebook

On board 856, and saw this guy without mask, tell him to mask up in bus but he ignore because he talking to his ‘girlfriend’.

Want to look good and brave in public but put risk to others.

Potential penalties

Not wearing masks

If they are caught by the Police for not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly they can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.

Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jail for up to six months.
