An unfortunate incident happened at Tampines 1 where a glass panel shattered and injured one of the shoppers.
The incident happened at around 5.30PM on May 15, The glass panel near a bubble tea shop on level two of the shopping mall landed on the first floor.
The shop was located directly above Toast Box and it is believed that one person was injured by the glass shards.
A TikTok user who witnessed the incident said that the glass was quickly cleaned up and operation resume as per normal after 1 hour.

The glass broke around the evening at 5.30ish. There was a loud smash and it attracted a huge crowd. I don’t think anybody got hur. The shards were scattered across lvl 1 and b1 (toastbox area), but the store clerks & mall mgmt were quick to clear it up.
