The International (TI), an annual Dota 2 world championship tournament, will be held in Singapore for the first time in October, according to the developer of the game, Valve Software.
Vale revealed the Singapore venue during the grand finals of the ESL One Dota 2 Stockholm Major, which is the first international LAN tournament of the 2021-2022 Dota Pro Circuit season.
TI will be held in South East Asia for the first time, as the Suntec Arena in Singapore.
It will be the 11th edition of the world championship tournament, with most of the previous tournaments being held in the US.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in Singapore sometime during October later this year, and previous tournaments saw a prize pool of more than US$40 million.
