CASH PAYMENTS TO STOP FOR S’PORE-JOHOR BUS SERVICE, CAUSEWAY LINK

The Singapore-Johor cross-border bus service, Causeway Link, will stop accepting cash payments from 1 June 2022 onwartds.

The bus service provider made the announcement via their Facebook page on 23 May, with the transition to cashless payments starting in phases, from all stations in Singapore to JB, and then Malaysian stations to Singapore.

Here is what they said on Facebook

Attention to cross-border commuters! We are transiting to Cashless effective from 1st June 2022 for service from Singapore to Malaysia. We will start by phases.

Phase 1: Start from all stations in Singapore to JB

Please prepare contactless payment mode with sufficient credits when boarding the bus.
