“I CAN DO ANYTHING NOW”

On at least one occasion, while they were alone on school grounds, the teacher grabbed her and press his own body against her at a wall saying “I can do anything now”. This lasted for over 10 seconds and the victim was confused.

The teacher would soon take advantage of her even more and touched her privates. The relationship ended a few months later.

How he was caught

After the student finished her studies, she came back a few years later to be a relief teacher. She confided the incidents to fellow teachers and the principal eventually found out and called the Police.

It is unclear why the victim would suddenly reveal her ordeal to others.

Sentencing:

Although findings revealed that the man had bipolar disorder, an assessment conducted on the man found out that his symptoms had no link to the crime he committed.
