Malaysia, Sungai Petani, Kedah – A man was shot and killed in the street after eating out with his family yesterday afternoon as he was about to pick up his car.
The 4 assailants who rode 2 motorcycles together were fierce and rampant, in broad daylight and shot in the street in front of the deceased’s wife and children, as well as the public.
The shooting took place at around 12 noon today in front of a budget hotel at the traffic light.
It is understood that at the time of the incident, witnesses saw the four assailants who were riding two motorcycles, all wearing full-face helmets and gloves, driving out of the alley behind the shophouse.
One of the gunmen got out of the car and fired multiple shots directly at the deceased’s head.
It is understood that the deceased was walking in front, while his wife, son and a man followed. The murderer shot directly in front of the deceased’s wife, children, and the public.
According to what was seen at the scene, the deceased believed that the car door had been opened before the incident, and he was lying next to the driver’s seat after being shot.
According to eyewitnesses who witnessed the incident, the deceased was a frequent visitor to the budget restaurant and would bring his family to the restaurant every time.
The budget hotel operator said that at the time of the incident, one of the assailants was seen firing multiple shots into the deceased’s head. After the incident, he called the police to report the incident, and under the police’s advice, he pulled up the store and temporarily closed the store.
