They also caught a few motorcyclists with missing number plates on their motorcycles, as their plain clothes patrol officers patrolled the Yishun, Woodlands and Sembawang area on 3 June.

Here is the LTA’s statement

Our enforcement teams continue to take errant riders to task, this time through a plain clothes patrol around Yishun, Woodlands and Sembawang last night.

We spotted several PMD, PAB and motorcycle riders riding on footpaths, which is illegal. A couple of motorcyclists were also caught with missing number plates on their bikes.

To ensure the safety of pedestrians, only non-motorised devices, such as regular bicycles or kick scooters, can be used on footpaths. Riders must also ensure that their speeds don’t exceed 10 km/h.

Let’s all do our part to maintain the safety of our paths and roads.
