BLEEDING MAN FOUND WITH 20CM HARPOON IN HIS BACK, 10 MEN ARRESTED

A 23-year-old man was allegedly attacked with a tactical harpoon measuring about 20cm at Ming Arcade on the morning of 4 June, according to CNA.

The harpoon was stuck in his back and he was bleeding profusely when found – the two men who had allegedly assaulted him fled the scene before the arrival of the police.

The Singapore Police Force was alerted to a stabbing case on 4 June at about 4.37am, at 21 Cuscadedn Road.

The 23-year-old victim was conveyed to the hospital conscious and in a stable condition.

The police arrested the two alleged perpetrators, aged 22 and 28, through the use of surveillance footage and follow-up investigations.

they will be charged in court today (6 June) for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon.

The police said that one of the alleged attackers was involved in another crime on the morning of the same day.

The police were alerted to a man armed with a parang at Labrador Park at about 8.45am, with the armed man and another accomplice fleeing before the arrival of the police.

A 19-year-old teenager was arrested as an accomplice for the Labrador Park incident, but he was not involved in the Ming Arcade incident.

The police have also arrested 7 other men for their alleged involvement in the harpoon stabbing at Ming Arcade, with all 10 men being suspected members of unlawful societies.
