A TikTok user, @steven-stenlyy, shared a video on his account showing his encounter with a tissue seller along Orchard Road.
He captioned his video, “despite his disability, he hasn’t given up nor given in”, as he approached the seller and asked him how much is it.
The seller then told him that it was $1, to which the man then asked him if he could have it for free.
The seller then magnanimously gave him the tissue for free, to the man’s disbelief. as he asked the seller “Really? For free?”
The seller then gave him a thumbs up, as the man then later returned to the tissue seller and passed him a $100 note.
He told the seller that it was because the seller was kind to him, and the seller then started tearing up, visibly moved by the man’s gesture.
A caption then appears, saying that this was the first time the seller had received so much before, as he thanked the man for his donation.
