NETFLIX PLANNING SQUID GAME REALITY SHOW WITH S$6.45M PRIZE MONEY

Netflix announced that they will be launching a new reality television show based on the South Korean series Squid Game which became a hit worldwide, according to Reuters.

The reality show will be called “Squid Game: The Challenge” and it pits 456 contestants against each other across 10 episodes.

There will also be games that are inspired by the tv show, along with additional games, and it will be filmed in the UK.

Biggest prize money in TV history

The show will also have a cash prize of US$4.56 million (or SGD$6.35 million), with Netflix calling it the largest lump sum prize in the history of reality television.

They previously announced the 2nd season of the Squid Game tv series (the original tv show, not the game show).
