Amber Heard was reportedly fired from Aquaman 2, with Just Jared reporting that an anonymous insider claimed that Heard was completely cut out of Aquaman 2 by Warner Bros.
The anonymous insider also claimed that the production of the movie would be reshooting scenes with the other main cast.
Amber Heard’s spokesperson then said via a statement that that is not the case, saying “the rumour mill continues as it has from day one – inaccurate, insensitive and slightly insane, according to Variety.
Just Jared then updated their report, “Sources close to the Aquaman production have shot us an update, saying, ‘Amber has not been completely cut from the film. She still has a small role.’ Our other sources still say Amber will be recast but we’ll update our readers as more information rolls in.”
This comes in the wake of her ex husband Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against her, where she was revealed to have ill-treated him during their marriage and lied about him in many of her allegations.
Johnny Depp ultimately won his defamation lawsuit against her, with the court ordering her to pay damages of US$15 million to Depp.
