The Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) raided an entertainment center located in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur on 06 July 2022 and managed to detain a total of 166 foreigners.
The operation was carried out on an entertainment centre premise that provided their customers with “services” via foreign girls.
The investigation revealed that the premise was visited by many customers who were local Malaysians.
The Operations Unit from the Operations, Investigation and Prosecution Division of the Malaysian Immigration Headquarters Putrajaya raided the entertainment center at 11.30pm with a total of 39 Immigration Officers.
During the raid, the entertainment center was full of customers who were entertaining. There were escape attempts and provocations from the foreign girl, employees and customers during the raids. But the situation was controlled shortly after.
This entertainment center is believed to have just started operating on 05 June 2022 and offers GRO services to foreigners at a price of RM100 to RM1000.
Customers can buy a sash (hang flower) with the price tag and choose the GRO girl by sheathing the sash according to the price option on the sash purchased.
A total of 166 foreigners detained consisted of nine Thai men and 133 women, one Vietnamese man and 12 women, two Laos women, six Bangladeshi men and three Indonesian women.
