Speaking to Lianhe Zaobao, she said that she was having a meal with her husband and friends at Bgain 221 Eating House on 3 July when her husband felt something moving at his feet.

They then saw a rat running into the Thai Mookata stall, before seeing about 4 rats running around the stall along the water pipes.

A spokesperson for the stall spoke to AsiaOne and said that they are aware of the incident and are investigating it.

The stall also said that the rats may have been from other shops, and they highlighted that the rats had entered their stall when it was closed.

They added that the rat problem was a coffeeshop issue, and not just their stall.
