On Wednesday (13 July), an 18-year-old youth was ordered to undergo reformative training for at least a year after pleading guilty to two counts of penetration of minors, a molestation charge and disturbing the public peace by fighting.
According to Straits Times, seven other charges were taken into consideration for his sentencing.
Teen 16 years old convinced his then classmate, a 14 years old girl to send him explicit photos of herself and threatened to share it with others.
Teen 18 years old now went on his spree and targeted four more underage girls, committing offences including penetration and molestation.
The teen went on his crime spree back in October and December 2019 when he first targeted his classmate.
In January and March 2020, he met the 2nd victim, a 15 years old girl on social media and invited her to his home to perform an explicit act on him while he recorded it secretly.
In February 2020, he targeted the 3rd victim, a 14 year old girl and penetrated her.
In June 2020, he met the 4th, a 13 year old girl and molested her.
In December 2020, he met the 5th victim, a 15 year old girl, for lunch and asked her to follow him home as he had to “collect his work stuff”, and then proceeded to perform penetration on her.
He was also given 2 more additional charges for fighting while being drunk at Woodlands.
Under the Children and Young Persons Act, he cannot be named as he was below 18 years old when he committed his offences.
For each count of penetrating a minor, an offender can be jailed for up to 10 years and fined
