A video emerged online showing a couple of aunties fighting outside a hawker centre, purportedly over a man as they traded blows with one another.
The incident purportedly happened at Bukit Merah View Food Centre and Market, and according to the netizen who posted the video, the police were also activated to deal with the situation.
Guan Yin Ma disapproves
The two women were seen in the video trying to attack each other as the man tried to separate them, but he only succeeded for a few seconds before the woman in shorts gave him one tight slap on the head that presumably knocked out a few of his IQ points.
She hit him on the head so hard that he probably saw Guan Yin Ma shaking her head in the clouds, disappointed with the fracas that was unfolding before her eyes.
Smoking more important
The two women then got at each other as the man tried to break them apart again, this time with smoke coming out of his mouth as he tried to simultaneously hold on to his cigarette with two fingers and break up the fight with his other eight fingers.
The woman in black pants was seen holding and pulling onto the other woman’s hair as the man tried to break them up, and the woman in shorts appeared to have a bunch of her hair pulled out.
The woman in shorts was also seen with her shirt torn at the side, exposing her midriff.
Police arrive at the scene
They then went to the side of the coffeeshop to talk (or argue) further as the other coffeeshop patrons and passers-by watched the drama unfold from afar because it was more entertaining than what is on Channel 8 these days.
The police then arrived at the scene, as the shouting continued and one of the police officers was seen trying to calm down the woman (with the torn shirt) and stop her from going after the other woman.
The video was then abruptly ended as the cameraman got distracted and decided to film a stool.
