Long waited for Premier League player finally in Singapore again, big crowd of fans welcomes the Liverpool player at the Ritz-Carlton. The last time the Premier League played in Singapore was in 2009.
According to Straits Times, nearly 300 fans gathered to welcome their favorite team.
Some gathered as early as 10 am before the player bus arrived.
Fans wore Liverpool jerseys and sang You’ll Never Walk Alone when the team arrived.
Jocelyn Ng, 33 big fan of Liverpool was grateful player was here, said “It feels so surreal seeing them here right in front of us. The players did not interact much with the fans but I understand that it is probably because it has been tiring for them.
“They also had a match last night so naturally they need to recover. Hopefully I will get to go to Anfield soon and watch a match live there.”
