What happened?

Following the culmination of the match, two men wearing Liverpool jerseys ran onto the pitch as the Liverpool players were walking around the stadium and applauding the fans for their support.

The first man invaded the pitch so abruptly that the stewards were taken by surprise and couldn’t stop him in time, as he ran towards the centre circle while being chased.

He was seen running and evading the stewards by running in a zig-zag pattern but was eventually subdued by another guard who caught him from behind.

The other man was swiftly caught by the stewards and tackled onto the ground, after stumbling over the barricade in front of the Liverpool players.
