A video went viral online after video of a rat was spotted chowing down on the vegetables at Hougang’s Giant Supermarket.
The rat was seen eating corn without a care in the world.
Netizens who saw the video were disgusted by it and the video has gone viral on various social media platforms.
The incident took place at Giant Supermarket Block 683 Hougang Avenue 8, the video was uploaded yesterday.
This is not the first time rats have been spotted at the supermarket chain. Previously, a dead rat was found in vegetables at the IMM Giant hypermarket outlet.

According to SFA, Failure to keep licenced premises free of rat infestation can result in 6 demrit points.
A licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either one day, two days or three days.
