She was fined $2,800 on 21 July for lying about a party that involved 10 people back in 26 December 2020, when the maximum number of people allowed for social gatherings was 5.

Footage of the party that was held off the Lazarus island, showed them dancing without masks on and were circulating online, with the partygoers later identified, including 9 Brits and a Chinese national

One of the Brits had gotten in touch with Marine Bookings to charter their yachts for a 10-pax party, with the company then booking Davant, which is owned and operated by Beyond Luxury.

The group didn’t divide themselves into groups of five, and when the videos of their party were circulating online, the MPA launched an investigation into the incident.

Peng then found out that the Briton who booked the yacht, was interviewed by the authorities, along with another partygoer, and she then told the Brit to tell MPA that they had split the booking and lie that there were two groups of people who didn’t know each other.

She continued with the lie herself when interviewed by an MPA officer but was found out, and the police were then alerted on 1 February.
