A netizen shared how his parents took a loan of about $40k to pay for his private uni degree but he ended up dropping out cause he met some bad company.
He stated that he is guilty of not finishing his degree and that his parents are still paying for his bad decisions.
Here is the story:
My parents took a loan of about $40k to pay for my university degree when I was introduced by some rich friends who brought me to the nightlife.
Yes, I did drop out of university and abandoned my degree, because I thought I could make more money from my friends who were rich than any jobs my degree could get me.
I lied to my parents that I couldn’t keep up with my studies and dropped out of the degree because I wanted to pursue other interests, of course, they got angry.
But I promised them that I would pay back the loan that they took for my degree, with interest.
I am in the midst of raising enough money to pay back my parents for the loan that they took out for my degree including my interests.
However, I could not do so and ended up working at a bistro bar which makes next to nothing and I can barely survive.
I really regret it and I have no idea how to continue for my future, I don’t want my future to be like this and I am afraid that I have to continue working in the F&B and never get a high salary.
Alot of people say F&B earn a lot, ya if only you are the boss, not an employee.
