A netizen received an email from an unknown contact and the email featured SP Group’s logo and claimed that an additional deduction of the bills took place.
The email prompted the victim to click on the link to “process” a refund. But it is nothing but a phishing link which scams victims into keying their credit card details or bank credentials.
Take note that these email messages are not sent by SP Group. SP Group does not request for customers to verify their identity or process billing matters by clicking on an email link of this nature.
Please stay vigilant and protect yourself from phishing attempts. Always verify the sender’s email
address and do not disclose your personal or internet banking details and OTPs.
The email wrote:

Note: The link is valid only for 24 hours
