On May 11 a man took his own life in a police cell after raping and robbing a HK student.The suspect believed to obtain a computer a computer cable within Sau Mau Ping police station. After setting off a fire alarm and sprinklers and meddling with the fire duct in the wee hours of the morning he was moved to another cell.
At about 9am, hanging from the cable he had stolen that officers found him dead in the new cell.Ironically, it was also a cable – for a mobile phone, that the rape suspect had used to tie up his victim with before allegedly raping her on 7/5 Sunday morning.
