Three men have been arrested after a huge fight broke out along Orchard Road, with more than 30 people involved in the brawl.
The three men were arrested on Sunday morning (14 August), after videos of the fight went wildly viral on social media.
The Singapore Police Force said that the suspects had fled the scene before the arrival of the police, but they were identified by the police through investigations and the use of police cameras and CCTVs, before subsequently being arrested.
The arrested trio of hooligans, between the ages of 20 and 30, are set to be charged in court on 16 August with rioting.
Upon conviction, they face a jail term of up to 7 years and caning.
The Singapore Police Force said: “The police will not tolerate such brazen acts of violence and blatant disregard of the law. We will spare no effort to apprehend such offenders and deal with them in accordance with the law.”

A video was uploaded on Facebook depicting 2 groups of men fighting, they were at first seen fighting and it somehow ended fighting on the road.
On the left side of the video, a group of men could be seen ganging up on one man and on the right side of the video another bunch was seen hammering a man who was already lying flat on the road.
A quick count shows that there are at least 30 people in the fight.
A man could be heard shouting in the background and most of them seem to be quite young.
