A car salesman that was supposed to help a customer to purchase a Ferrari car ended up using the money for his personal use. Daniel Lewis Lim an ex-car salesman from Wheelers Dealers SG managed to seal a deal from a Ferrari buyer.
The Ferrari that cost $565,000 were given in two cheques to Daniel one as a deposit and the second cheque as the full payment. Despite paying for the vehicle, the customer was yet to received news of the Ferrari. Lim delayed the process by claiming that the vehicle will be transferred to the customer once the paperwork was completed.
With the customer’s knowledge part of the money was already in cash chips after Daniel took the money and exchanged it at Marina Bay Sands. The amount was over $100,000.
Only after a month, the customer requested a refund from Wheeler Dealers and everything came to light.
