A video emerged online showing a cyclist with a pillion on his bicycle, cycling on the road along Balestier Road before being hit by a car.
The incident happened on 24 September at about 2.42pm, involving a cyclist and his pillion rider, and a Chervet Orlando; and the incident was captured on the dashcam of another motorist on the road.
The cyclist and his pillion rider were seen in the video changing lanes on the road without checking his blind spot for oncoming traffic.
They were then hit by a car and crashed onto the ground, after which the cyclist then got up and confronted the driver, berating him.
A voice could be heard in the video recording, saying that “this uncle purposely one, I knew it! He in the first place shouldn’t go there one. This uncle’s fault, it’s not the car’s fault. Ya I saw, my camera caught.”
