Finding a parking space is one of the headaches of a driver. But what can make it worse?
Imagine finally finding a parking space and a woman is standing on it and refusing to move. When the man tried to park his car, the woman said: “The car coming”.
The man then asked her: “Sorry? What is it?”.
The woman was still seen loitering at the parking lot and refusing the give way for all 23 seconds of the video. It is unclear if the driver managed to park the lot.
The man then repeatedly ask her to move and ask her “if this is a reserved park?”, however, the woman ignored the man and continued talking on the phone.
Some might even say the woman’s behaviour is a public nuisance
A public nuisance is committed when a person causes common injury, danger or annoyance to the public or people in the vicinity. This offence is defined under section 268 and punishable under section 290 of the Penal Code with a maximum fine of $1,000.
Here is the video of the incident:
Here are what netizens think:
- The women knows that the guy can’t do anything to her that’s why she is reacting in such manner. This is Singapore people so …. it up. Only way call police lol.
- Learnt from China and Hong Kong. Shameless.
- If is me I reverse like him block the entire road and wait all the car horn don’t move until she give up the lot… Cause definitely the car is coming and want to park the place and might be unable to do so until she give up I park that lot… Or let until people come over take a lot of pic on het, talk to her. Or police come and talk…
- That should be a law that says the driver has the right to knock down a person who uses their bodies to block a vehicle from parking even it means causing injury or even death.
